  Posted Monday 8th August 2011

Hello to all reading this next blog post by Beccy-Boo!! :)

Recently, I have been asked if i make scrabble rings, and i had to unfortunately say no, due to the price of scrabble sets going up. However, I am very pleased to say that we now have lots of new stock, including a lovely old-fashioned scrabble set! we will be posting new pictures to our shopping section, so please check back soon to find out all the new 'rings and things' we have in store!

I have now also broken up from school for the summer, and need something to do, so this calls for making lots more stock!

My sister-in-law http://www.Cassiefairy.co.uk has been helping me come up with lots of new ideas and thought of things i never would have before!

The business seems to be going well and i have had a lot of support from friends and family, and have been mentioned in alot of tweets which is always encouraging!

Beccy-Boo at Dubs at the Hall 2011

Posted Saturday 30th July 2011

Last month I attended Dubs at the Hall as a stallholder and I think I’ve finally recovered enough to blog about the event!

I was a VW enthusiast festival weekend and I’m posting a few pics of the vehicles as well as the Cassiefairy and Beccy-Boo stand – which I am now sharing my pitch with my “sister company” http://www.Cassiefairy.co.uk! ;o)

The festival was my first stall as a businesswoman and first festival as a teenager, so we all had a pretty fun and giddy weekend! Cassie and I had a helping hand setting up our stall from my brother Andy, brother-in-law Andy and sister-in-law Cassie before we all tucked in to a mid-morning snack from the doughnut stall that we were pitched next to!

I was keen to find out how my jewellery would be received and what sort of person would buy from my stall. Over the weekend I sold rings, badges and hairclips to loads of different types of people of all ages, including some very little boys who wanted matching lego rings!

I was very pleased with how the stall looked, and after the first day we decided to move my jewellery table and stand outside the gazebo into the sunshine! It certainly improved sales being outside too - and I got to sit in the sun and play "Whot" card game with my family.

After we closed the stall in the evenings, it was just as much fun - lots of entertainment and a very funky beatboxer performed on the main stage. My brother dressed up as Ali G and totally embarassed me! Now I'm going to embarass him by posting the photos! ha! Here's the link to his website too: http://www.aligindahouse.co.uk
